Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks for the great service in helping us find, buy, and then subsequently sell the condo!!! We’ve really had mixed emotions about selling because we spent quite a bit of time over the winter planning our move back to St. John’s and what we wanted to do with the condo once we got there. I was kind of amazed at how quickly it sold given all the talk about doom and gloom in Newfoundland. We really appreciate your help and advice. Our search here for a home in Sherwood Park worked out great. we get the keys on July 25. Poor Jim Morgan, the agent from Brent MacIntosh Group, you referred us to. I’m sure there were days when he was cursing on you for referring us to him!! There were a couple of times when he said, “Ok this is new territory for me.” but he was unfailingly patient and we got the house we wanted. Amazingly though we must have looked at 35-40 properties!! We’re getting the keys just 3 months almost to the day from when we moved from Fort McMurray.

I reviewed the report which I found more comprehensive than I anticipated and concluded that you know the market well. M. and I appreciated your kind comments on our home. I am still considering buying investment property(ies). In this regard, I did a little checking on available financing and was encouraged by the favorable response at PC Financial. Apparently they are prepared to advance 75% of the value of our home. The loan would be at prime and the only fee involved would be a one time fee of $150; not even any legal. A loan of $112,500 could be used to buy a property at that approximate amount or as a downpayment on two to four properties (all without any mortgage insurance fees)…something for me to think about!
